Help make a difference in a Native Family's life today!
Last Year over 200 Native people came to Overcomers Family Camp and were blessed and encouraged. Family camp allows Native Families to have a chance to come together in a wonderful, peaceful, and loving environment where they can relax and enjoy nature and each other. For one week they can get away from the pain of life and let their guard down. These families are under constant attack from environmental, economical, spiritual, and emotional pressures among other things. They live with the pain and pressures of unemployment, drugs, alcohol and gangs, physical, emotional and sexual abuse and much more.
By sponsoring a Native Family you will help give them an opportunity to see that life can be different and that there are people who care if they live or die! They will see that there is more to life then the city block or reservation they live on. Also, they will learn that there are people who want to help them and not use them. They will learn to trust, maybe for the first time in their lives. Most importantly they will hear and see that there is a God who loves them more then they could ever hope or imagine. They will learn that He has a plan for their lives, a plan to help them not harm them, a plan of HOPE for this life and the next!
Our prayer is that you will join us and help support a Native Family and help them make it to camp this year. Last year many were blessed and peoples lives were changed forever. Many experienced the life changing power of God's Love and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and were baptized into the Family of God! The cost per family member is $250.00 each.
